Tech Lab Open

Visit the Tech Lab with or without an appointment!

A parent or legal guardian must sign the Tech Lab Patron Agreement for patrons ages 14-17. A parent or legal guardian must sign the Tech Lab Patron Agreement for patrons ages 8-13 and must accompany the child in the Tech Lab at all times. Children 7 and younger are not allowed in the Tech Lab. Parents/legal guardians are responsible for any damage. Please review the Tech Lab Policy for a full list of usage guidelines.

Use of the Tech Lab is free, except for the cost of 3D prints, which cost 10¢ per gram (rounded to the nearest gram). Patrons may not bring their own filament for the 3D printer.

Equipment

The following hardware and software are available for use in the Tech Lab:

• 1 Bambu Lab 3D printer
• 2 iMac editing stations, with the following professional software:
  • Adobe Creative Cloud
  • AutoDesk Architecture, Engineering and Construction Collection
• 2 Meta Quest 3 Virtual Reality headsets
• 1 Wacom Intuos Pro drawing tablet
• 2 MYNT 3D printing pens

• Memory Lab for digitization, including:

  • Record player & vinyl-to-digital converter
  • Floppy disk reader
  • VCR and VHS converter
  • Epson Expression 11000XL scanner, with transparency unit
