Galesburg Public Library’s Skills Lab is an interactive classroom for adults and teens to develop skills, gain independence, and engage in hands-on, life-long learning. Visit the Skills Lab with or without an appointment!

Join us for this monthly club to learn about animals with other animal enthusiasts. Pick up a free take-home explorer kit, then meet to share info on the animal of the month. For kids in grades K-3.

Senior adults raising children are invited to attend support group meetings to connect with other families and gain resources from the community. This program is held in partnership with Alternatives for Older Adults and the VNA.

Bring your current craft project to work on and make new friends. All skill levels are encouraged to come!

Meet at the library for a kid-friendly introduction to the world of Dungeons & Dragons. We'll cover the basics of tabletop role playing games and then play through a self-contained adventure. No previous experience needed!

Drop in to practice reading with a trained volunteer. New and developing readers will read aloud to their buddy, build fluency & confidence, and have fun! Readers attending at least two sessions may choose a free book to keep.

We are making a movie! But first, we've got to write the script. Help us structure the narrative, plot scenes, and write dialogue! New faces are welcome, even if you haven't worked on this project or any kind of movie scripting before.

Add some color into your bookshelf! Join us in decorating the edge of your favorite books! Supplies are provided. If you have a book you have been wanting to turn into a deluxe edition, bring it to decorate!
