Learn everything you need to know to start babysitting in this comprehensive course, including safety, behavior, first aid, & business skills. A lunch break with food will be provided. 

Practice your reading skills by reading to a furry friend from Galesburg Therapy Dogs. Open to kids ages 12 and under; kids under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Advance registration required in the Children's Library.

Kids in grades 4-6, join us to compete in several literary events, including spelling, storytelling and problem solving. Advance registration is required.

Come and learn a form of CPR! Hands only CPR is a skill that can be used in case of emergencies on children and adults. Registration is required, and a waiting list will be used if the event fills up.

Hey Pokémon trainers! Come journey on over to the Children’s Library for Pokémon Club. Join us to play the card game, trade cards, or both! For kids in grades K-6. All children under 8 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Join us for Banned Book Club! This Club will read and respectfully discuss books that have been challenged or banned. This month we are reading All Boys Aren't Blue by George M. Johnson.

Calling all tweens in grades 4-6! Join us the first and third Thursdays of the month at 6 PM for fun crafts, games, or building challenges. We will focus on a different topic or activity each month. Advance registration is required.
