In Fluke by Christopher Moore, marine mammal biologist Nathan Quinn has spent his life looking for the message in the song of humpback whales. Now he may have found it. And it appears to be a warning. 

The last (probably) Movie Club outing to the AMC will be on Tuesday, 12/17. We'll meet at Culver's at 5:45 PM for dinner, then head to the AMC for the 7:00 PM showing of Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim.

Join us for this monthly club to learn about animals with other animal enthusiasts. Pick up a free take-home explorer kit, then meet to share info on the animal of the month. For kids in grades K-3.

Calling all tweens in grades 4-6! Join us the first Thursday of each month at 6 PM for fun crafts, games, or building challenges. We will focus on a different topic or activity each month. Advance registration is required.

Kids in grades K-6: compete tournament-style in teams of 2-4 to create a series of LEGO builds. Advance registration required in the Children’s Library. Kids under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Join us for a fun program designed for readers in grades K-2 making the move from picture books to chapter books! Each read-aloud will be followed by a related STEM activity. Registration required.
