Galesburg Reads

Kick off the 2024 community read of the novel The Bear by Andrew Krivak with a Survival Skills Fair! Stations will include shelter building, boat safety, wild animal facts and fur, weather spotting, fire building, edible and medicinal plants, and more! 

Free copies of The Bear will be distributed while supplies last. Presented in partnership with Galesburg Parks & Rec and the Fire Dept. Funded by a grant from Galesburg Community Foundation.

A more detailed schedule will be published closer to the event. Free and for all ages.
